Canon Unveils Its EOS-1D Mark II Camera

Japanese multinational corporation Canon is renowned for its incredible imaging and optical products, and it looks like 2016 brings with it the release of a brand new Canon flagship camera body.
Dubbed EOS-1D Mark II, this camera is equipped with a 20.2 megapixel full-frame sensor complemented by dual pixel auto-focus. Just in case you’re not too familiar with Canon’s products, you should know that this is the first full-frame Canon to boast dual pixel auto-focus, which means that it will definitely attract the attention of enthusiasts and professionals alike.

Other noteworthy additions include an ISO sensitivity range of 100 to 51,200, as well as the capability to shoot RAW at 14 frames per second. The product can also shoot bursts of 170 images, which makes it incredibly appealing to photojournalists and sports photographers. Naturally, since we’re talking about a premium Canon product, the EOS-1D Mark II is able to film 4K videos at 60 frames per second. It also comes with a 3.2-inch touch panel and a 1.62 million-dot screen, not to mention the built-in Wi-Fi and GPS. Priced at Europe Euro 6000 (USA $5,999) without any lens, this body is manufactured using a magnesium alloy that is completely dust and water-resistant.
